Line 01 · Flying Dome Theater
Suspended dome flying theater
The throughput flagship: seats suspended over a 22–24 m bowl screen, 72–96 guests per 7–8 minute cycle, up to 822 guests per hour — for venues where the flying theater is the headline attraction.
In the suspended format, the audience does not sit on a platform in front of the screen — the seats hang over a hemispherical, bowl-shaped giant ball screen of 22–24 metres diameter, built with seamless splicing technology to wrap the field of view beyond 180 degrees. Projection supports 4K/8K laser, and some solutions are compatible with naked-eye 3D effects, so guests can experience stereoscopic images without wearing devices.
The dynamic seats are a suspended 6-degree-of-freedom platform: connected through a suspension system, they pitch (to +/-30 degrees), lift and rotate (a full 360 degrees), simulating flight and falling dynamics, with a single-seat weight bearing of 50–150 kg. Multi-sensory feedback is integrated into the suspended system, so the effects track the seat wherever it is in the bowl.
The published capacity and efficiency figures define who this format is for: a standard 72–96 seats, a single experience duration of 7–8 minutes, and a maximum of 822 people per hour. The building and power figures are equally explicit — 310–416 kW of industrial power at 380V, and a required building height of 3–4 floors (18–21.5 metres). If your venue cannot offer that height or power, the platform-based formats — the 5D flying theater or the flying dome cinema — are the realistic branch of the line.
System composition
- Dome screen system — 22–24 m hemispherical/bowl screen, seamless splicing, 180+ degree coverage, 4K/8K laser projection, naked-eye 3D on some solutions.
- Dynamic seats — suspended 6-DOF platform, pitch +/-30 degrees, 360-degree rotation, 50–150 kg per seat.
- Capacity system — 72–96 seats, 7–8 minute cycles, up to 822 guests per hour.

What to confirm for your project
- Check building height and power before anything else: 18–21.5 m of height and 310–416 kW at 380V are hard gates for this format.
- Confirm your throughput model against the 7–8 minute cycle and 72–96 seat count — hourly capacity of up to 822 assumes the standard configuration and continuous operation.
- Ask about minimum order requirements and lead time for your proposed configuration; this format is engineered to the building, not shipped as a fixed package.
Buyer questions
Why suspend the seats instead of using a platform?
Suspending the seats over the bowl screen removes the platform edge from the picture and lets the seats pitch and rotate through a full 360 degrees — the strongest flight sensation in the line, and the format with the highest published throughput.
What hourly capacity should we plan on?
The published maximum is 822 people per hour with 72–96 seats on a 7–8 minute experience. Your operating pattern (loading discipline, show schedule) decides how close you run to that ceiling.
Can it show 3D without glasses?
Some solutions in this format are compatible with naked-eye 3D effects, so stereoscopic images can be experienced without wearing devices. Confirm the option when you fix the projection specification.
