Supplier Guide · Dark Ride
Choosing a dark ride manufacturer
A dark ride is a building, a railway, a cinema and a safety system bought in one contract. These are the specification questions to put to any manufacturer — including us.
Yaisu Tech (Beijing) Co., Ltd. manufactures dark ride systems as part of its entertainment catalogue: the game equipment format at 300–600 m of track, the motion simulator format for flexible mid-size builds, and a fully specified equipment package. This page is written as a buyer's checklist, because a ride contract signed on renderings alone is how venues end up with beautiful, unusable hardware.
Ask for these numbers, in writing
- Track engineering — length, maximum slope, dynamic load coefficient. (This line publishes 300–600 m, 45 degrees and a load coefficient of 2.0 or more on the game format.)
- Vehicle motion — degrees of freedom, passengers per car, load capacity, drive type. (Here: 6-DOF hybrid cars, 6–8 passengers, 500–800 kg, hydraulic drive at 20–35 MPa.)
- Media system — screen count, resolution, brightness. (Here: 4K metal screens at 10,000 lumens or more on the game format; 10 screens in the reference package.)
- Safety architecture — the standard basis, braking redundancy, evacuation, control redundancy. (Here: Class A standards basis for large amusement facilities, redundant braking and evacuation routes; dual redundant control on the equipment package.)
- Throughput arithmetic — cycle time x fleet x dispatch. (Published here: 5–6 minute cycles and 4,000–5,000 guests per day on the game format; a 6.5-minute reference cycle on the package.)
- Content scope — who produces scenes and media, and what retheming costs later. Modular storyline design (quick theme switching) is the feature to look for.
Ask about the company, too
The manufacturer states its scale as 13+ years of experience, 6+ production lines, a site over 20,000 sqm and 300+ staff, with planning-to-after-sales as one project scope and certificates available upon request. Verify the equivalent claims — with documents — from any supplier you shortlist, including this one. A ride is a 20-year relationship with its builder's spare-parts shelf; choose accordingly. The content production notes show the work that happens after the hardware contract.
