Line 05 · Magnetic Climbing Robot
Industrial wall climbing robot
The compact crawler for enclosed steel: 45 kg, sized for DN600 manhole entry, a flexible arm that crosses 30 mm welds, and grinding-disc surface treatment for tank interiors.
The industrial wall climbing robot is designed around one constraint: getting inside. Its compact design — 910 x 520 x 400 mm and 45 kg body weight — suits narrow entrances such as DN600 manholes, allowing quick access to the interior of a storage tank for operations that larger crawlers cannot reach. Once inside, a flexible arm structure supports crossing 30 mm welds or protruding obstacles, covering complex surfaces with a curvature radius of 2 m or more.
Its working mode is surface treatment rather than bulk stripping: operating efficiency reaches up to 16 sqm/h in high-pressure water jet mode — stated as 7–8 times higher than traditional manual methods — and it can cover more than 200 sqm of operating area in a single day. The specification adds the grinding side of the job: power requirement of 220V/1.1 kW, moving speed of 0–25 m/min with infinitely variable speed, an operating width of 520 mm, grinding disc compatibility across carbon steel, stainless steel, concrete and other materials, and surface treatment accuracy with roughness depth error of +/-0.5 mm or less.
Choose this crawler when the work is inside tanks and vessels or on mixed-material industrial walls; choose the climbing wall robot when the job is open-wall rust removal at the highest rates.
Core technology on record
- Compact access design — 45 kg, DN600 manhole entry, quick deployment inside storage tanks.
- Flexible arm — crosses 30 mm welds and protrusions; curved surfaces with radius >= 2 m.
- Surface treatment — jetting to 16 sqm/h plus grinding discs for steel, stainless and concrete; roughness depth error <= +/-0.5 mm.

What to confirm for your project
- Measure your access openings before specifying — DN600 manhole entry is the design point of this model.
- Mixed-material sites (steel, stainless, concrete) are this crawler's niche; pure open-wall stripping belongs to the larger models.
- Ask about minimum order requirements and lead time for your proposed configuration.
Buyer questions
What openings can it enter?
It is designed for narrow entrances such as DN600 manholes, at 910 x 520 x 400 mm and 45 kg — sized for quick access to storage tank interiors.
Can it cross welds and obstacles?
Yes — the flexible arm structure supports crossing 30 mm welds or protruding obstacles, on surfaces with a curvature radius of 2 m or more.
What surfaces can it treat?
Grinding discs are compatible with carbon steel, stainless steel, concrete and other materials, with surface treatment accuracy of roughness depth error within +/-0.5 mm.
