Line 05 · Magnetic Climbing Robot
Anti-corrosion coating robot
The recoating half of the maintenance cycle: dual-gun airless spraying at up to 800 sqm/h on vertical and curved walls, with 1,200 N of magnetic adhesion and closed waste recovery.
Stripping is only half a maintenance window; this robot applies the new coating. It replaces manual high-altitude operations such as scaffolding and hanging baskets, eliminating the risk of falling, and uses permanent magnet adsorption technology to hold stably on vertical and curved walls — supporting 120-degree internal and external bending-angle crawling and 30 mm obstacle crossing, so tank shells and curved structures are coated in continuous passes.
The production figures: spray efficiency reaches 800 sqm/h in dual spray gun mode, stated as more than 4 times traditional manual labour, with support for 24-hour continuous operation. Airless spraying technology reduces the diffusion of paint mist, with a dust concentration of 5 mg per cubic metre or less, and the system synchronously closes and recovers waste paint slag, with a wastewater utilisation rate of 95% or more — the environmental controls that let coating happen inside working tank farms.
Published specification: spray paint width of 300–1,000 mm (adjustable), mobile speed of 4–8 m/min in operating mode, magnetic adsorption force of 1,200 N or more on a vertical wall, and overall dimensions of 700 x 440 x 780 mm. Pair it with any stripping crawler in the line — the tank rust removal robot is the natural partner — to run strip-and-recoat as one mobilisation.
Core advantages on record
- High-altitude substitution — replaces scaffolding and hanging baskets; permanent-magnet adhesion on vertical/curved walls.
- Spray production — 800 sqm/h dual-gun, 4x+ the stated manual rate, 24-hour continuous operation.
- Clean application — airless spraying, dust <= 5 mg/cbm, closed waste paint recovery at >=95% utilisation.

What to confirm for your project
- Confirm coating system compatibility (airless, your paint viscosity and film build) at brief stage — spray width and rate assume the specified coating class.
- Sequence it with stripping: the maintenance window math works when this robot follows the stripping crawler on the same mobilisation.
- Ask about minimum order requirements and lead time for your proposed configuration.
Buyer questions
How much can it coat per hour?
Up to 800 sqm/h in dual spray gun mode — stated as more than 4 times traditional manual labour — with 24-hour continuous operation supported.
How does it stay on the wall?
Permanent magnet adsorption with a force of 1,200 N or more on a vertical wall, crawling through 120-degree internal and external bends and over 30 mm obstacles.
Is overspray controlled?
Airless spraying reduces paint mist diffusion (dust concentration <= 5 mg/cbm published), and waste paint slag is closed-loop recovered with a wastewater utilisation rate of 95% or more.
