Marine simulation platform
A maritime simulator that couples waves, wind and currents: sea conditions up to six-level waves of 6 m, sonar and optical perception models, and AUV/USV equipment testing on a 300 kg motion base.
The marine simulation platform reproduces the part of the sea that matters to a vessel or an offshore structure: the coupled physics. It supports coupling simulation of waves, wind fields and flow fields, simulating the dynamic effects of different sea conditions — six-level wave height of 6 m or less, wind speed of 15 m/s or less — on ships or platforms, with a calculation accuracy error of 3% or less. Integrated sonar detection and optical imaging models achieve underwater target recognition at a resolution of 0.1 m or better and environmental perception with a visibility simulation range of 0–50 m.
Modular expansion is the second design pillar: the platform can carry equipment models such as AUVs (autonomous underwater vehicles) and USVs (unmanned surface vehicles), and supports testing of cluster collaborative control algorithms — the multi-vehicle coordination problems that maritime autonomy teams actually need to rehearse before sea trials.
The motion and data hardware is specified to match: a 6-DOF dynamic platform with a maximum load of 300 kg and response delay of 15 ms or less under servo electric cylinder drive; a ship propulsion simulation with propeller thrust from 0–200 kN and wind power efficiency simulation error of 5% or less; sensor sampling at 1,000 Hz or more with synchronous recording of 12 types of ocean parameters (flow velocity, salinity, dissolved oxygen and others); and a 4K surround screen projection at a 180-degree horizontal viewing angle, with an optional VR headset at 3,840 x 2,160 binocular resolution.
Technical advantages on record

- Perception models — sonar detection and optical imaging; underwater target recognition at >=0.1 m resolution; visibility 0–50 m.
- Modular expansion — AUV and USV equipment models; cluster collaborative control algorithm testing.

What to confirm for your project
- Scope your sea-state envelope honestly: the published coupling covers waves to 6 m and wind to 15 m/s; beyond-envelope work is a different model set.
- Confirm which equipment models (AUV, USV, cluster control) are in scope — they are expansion modules, priced with the programme.
- Ask about minimum order requirements and lead time for your proposed configuration.
